DOZIEMTRS SIA offers a wide range of environmental radiation monitoring and detection equipment to prevent the spread of radioactive contamination and protect equipment, employees and society.
Our permanent environmental monitors help keep your facilities safe and off-site safe. We offer radiation contamination measurement systems for rapid evacuation of workers in radiation controlled areas. Airports, seaports, storage and other facilities rely on our portal monitors to detect hidden illicit nuclear material.
Continuous monitoring of the radiation level in Latvia is carried out in online mode by 23 stationary spectrometric monitoring stations: Baldone (2 stations), Balvi, Daugavpils (2 stations), Demene, Silene, Medumi, Jūrmala, Jelgava, Liepāja, Madona, Rēzekne, Rucava , in Salacgrīva, Salaspils, Talsos, Valmiera, Riga and Ventspils.
Read moreStationary spectrometric monitoring stations provide measurements of ambient (background) gamma radiation dose power and spectra. Measurements are taken at 10-minute intervals. The data is automatically collected and analyzed in a database, determining the dose rate of gamma radiation, which is measured in nSv/h (nanosieverts per hour). Information on the dose rate of gamma radiation is regularly sent to the EURDEP (European Radiological Data Exchange Platform) database, where gamma monitoring data of European countries is available. Extensive information can be found in the Public EURDEP MAP section of EURDEP’s public website.
